The National Foundation for the
Treatment of Pain is the only source of
direct medical intervention for
intractable pain patients in the United
States. NFTP is a non-profit
organization dedicated to helping pain
patients find relief. It is supported
entirely by tax-deductible member
contributions, grants and corporate
sponsorship. Without these needed
donations we cannot continue to provide
services for pain patients everywhere,
many of whom suffer financial hardship
as a result of illness and disability.
If you care about stopping the suffering
please help us continue our work. Your
contribution will directly support pain
patient advocacy services, communication
through our website, and medical
treatment, from which many suffering
individuals have found relief. Annual
membership is $25. Those who cannot
afford it may request that the fee be
waived.

Specialists
Membership supports the Foundation, which:
-
Provides advocacy and support with your current
doctors, with your family, and with anyone else
immediately involved;
-
Refers you to competent local help, if local
advocacy fails
-
Provides direct out-patient care if no local
referral can be successfully arranged
-
Works with a national pharmacy to provide
appropriate pain medication without harassment
from unsympathetic pharmacists.
The Foundation also works closely with more than 50
national organizations to promote national and state
legislation to protect the right to treatment of
pain patients and their doctors.
The Foundation's web site now receives more than
14,000 hits every day.
The Foundation needs the financial support of every
person who contacts us for help. Your membership
will allow us to grow, advocate, treat, and defend.
It also will be a part of the National Pain
Awareness Campaign, to change the way America cares
for those in pain and those who treat them.
